Every human deserves to live a life worth living.  As a therapist, my goal is to aid my clients in building a life they want to live, rather than escape.  I aim to create a supportive, empowering, safe, and encouraging therapeutic environment that yields the outcomes my clients’ desire.

I have a special interest in working with individuals 18 years or older who are impacted by an eating disorder, body image concerns, anxiety, depression, and/or concerns related to gender identity or sexual orientation.  I integrate a variety of evidenced based treatments into my practice, including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based strategies.  Beyond, therapeutic modalities, I believe that the most important part of therapy is the relationship between you and your therapist. My goal is to create a safe space for you to do the work needed to achieve your desired goals. No two clients have the same needs; I work collaboratively with my clients to design and implement a treatment plan that will generate the client’s desired outcomes.

I am currently working as a part-time equine facilitated psychotherapist and have this telehealth private practice.  I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Webster University (Webster Groves, MO) and my Masters of Social Work at Saint Louis University (Saint Louis, MO).  My clinical licensure (state of Oregon and Tennessee) was received following several years of post-graduate work and supervision in settings such as crises services, in-patient, out-patient, and residential care.

I grew up in rural Missouri where access to mental health treatment meant hours of traveling.  I am passionate about providing services to individuals and communities where access to mental health treatment is limited.  Online therapy has proven to be an effective delivery method for psychotherapy, however I know that starting something new can be scary.  I am here to help and I am happy to answer any questions about this process. See below for my contact information.
